Coconut Date Fruit (dubino)
Ginger
Milk favour (but optional)
Wash the tigernut thoroughly to remove any sand, and soak it in water for three hours.
Peel the ginger and thoroughly wash it.
Remove the seeds from the date fruit (dubino) and wash them.
Break the coconut, remove the shell, slice it into pieces, and then store it for more than one hour.
Afterwards, combine the tiger nut, coconut, date, and ginger.
Blend until it’s as smooth as possible.
In a large bucket, add several cups of water and mix thoroughly.
Use a light cloth, place a portion of the blend, and squeeze until all of the milky particles are extracted from the chaaf.
Use the white cloth to filter it so that there are no particles or chaaf left in the beverage; if desired, you may add milk for flavour.
Or sugar, but dates contain natural sugar.
